Llandudno West Shore Beach

Llandudno's West Shore Beach is the perfect beach for the whole family to enjoy. There is a cafe, public toilets, a play park and a large grassy area to picnic on as well as a beautiful sandy beach with spectacular views towards the Conwy Bay. Situated at the foot of the Great Orme it is a great place to explore the Orme from by foot as well as being part of the North Wales Coastal Path with walks along the coast to Deganwy, Conwy and beyond.

Codman's Punch & Judy

The Punch and Judy show has been a Llandudno tradition for over 150 years. Situated on the promenade next to the pier, there are daily shows at weekends and during school holidays from Easter to September. Performance times are at 2pm, 4pm and also noon during the height of the season - weather dependent!

Alice In Wonderland Trail

Follow the white rabbit as he leads you around Llandudno with 55 bronze-cast rabbit footprints - through the busy shopping area, onto the promenade and up into Happy Valley on the Great Orme as well as the West Shore, this trail is a great way of exploring Llandudno. Happy Valley Botanical Garden

Happy Valley is an area at the foot of the Great Orme that was made into a public park in the 19th Century, with magnificent views out over the bay, gardens and green space to enjoy, a colonnaded walk and a Camera Obscura which was built in 1859 and recently restored.

Both adults and children will enjoy a day in Conwy - a medieval walled town with a castle and town walls to explore. Enjoy an ice cream on the prom, visit the Smallest House in Great Britain and even take a boat trip from the harbour.

Conwy is a busy little town in all seasons with festivals like The Honey Fair, The Celtic Fayre, music festivals, food festivals, a Medieval festival and even a Pirate Weekend so it's worth checking out what's on when planning your trip.

The Welsh Mountain Zoo is one of the best family days out in the area and has been running for over 50 years. Highly-acclaimed and conservation-minded this zoo is situated on a hilltop with views to the Irish Sea and is a haven for exotic wildlife as well as local wildlife. Newborough, Anglesey

Newborough boasts a stunning expanse of beach, sand dunes, forest and Nature Reserve with mesmerising views towards Snowdonia. A wonderful place for the whole family to explore, build a sandcastle, enjoy a picnic and go for a swim on a sunny day.
