The Hostel is situated just one block away from the high street where
you will find shops - from high street chains to independent boutiques
- restaurants, takeaways, coffee shops, chemists, banks and everything
you need for a great stay in Llandudno.
A few minutes walk in one direction will take you to the Llandudno's
beach and Victorian promenade and pier. A walk in the other direction
will take you to West Shore beach - a beautiful sandy beach with
breathtaking views - a great place to get some fresh air and watch the
sunset. Families may enjoy the play park at the West Shore, Bonkers
indoor play barn, Lifeboat Indoor Climbing Centre, swimming at Llandudno
Swimming Pool or a trip up the Great Orme.
The Great Orme, ia an area of special interest and natural beauty -
with its sea views, flock of wild Kashmiri goats, Bronze Age copper
mines, cable cars, tramway and visitor centre - is a few minutes walk
away and can be explored on foot or by car or tram. There is much to
explore, climbing on the Great Orme in moonlight or daytime if you
prefer. Fun to be had at the Great Orme on the toboggan run and ski
slope, playing golf, snow tubes down the hillside or eating Parsiellas
ice cream and enjoying the spectacular views.
As well as having easy access to shops and local attractions the
hostel is situated a two minute walk from the train station, a short
distance from the coach station and is just around the corner from the
bus stop where local buses run to numerous places such as Colwyn
Bay, Caernarfon, Conwy, Betwys y Coed, Bangor, Rhyl and Prestatyn.
